What approvals are required?

We will take care of and assist you with all necessary approvals.

How long will it take for a Headstone or memorial to be installed once the order has been placed? 

For headstones, generally 2 to 6 weeks, depending upon stock availability. We will do all possible to meet urgent requests for job completions.

For larger Monuments, generally 2 to 6 months, again depending upon stock and colours availability.

How much of a deposit is required when an order is placed?

Once an order is placed a 50% deposit is required, the balance payable on the completion of the order.

What size monuments are available?

They vary depending on the Cemetery and the section within.

What materials can be used and how long does it last?

Most common is granite as it lasts the longest and requires less maintenance.  Other options include concrete and tiles.

What kinds and colors of inscriptions are available?

Most common is 23 Carat Gold Leaf, White, Silver and Natural (no colour).

What are the steps that need to be taken?

Decide on memorial, accept quote, sign Council Approval forms, sign/confirm Headstone printout, pay deposit, after monument completion final invoice issued.

Can the lids of monuments be removed for an additional burial?

Yes, this is simple to do and it is a normal practice in the industry.

Does the colour of the stone vary from the stone samples?

Yes, there can be slight variations in colour as Granite is a natural product and each block of granite is individual and can vary slightly.

Is all Granite suitable for Memorials?

No, not all Granite is suitable for monumental use, i.e. they may crack or fade when used outdoors.
